12 Day Around Vietnam with Phu Quoc Beach Break

Welcome to Hanoi, the heart of Vietnam. Our English speaking guide will wait for you at Noi Bai International Airport to pick you up and take you to the hotel for check-in procedure. 

It will take about 30 to 45 minutes to drive from the airport to your hotel in the city center. The rest of the day is yours to spare.

Let’s get started with an interesting sightseeing around the most famous and attractive sites in Hanoi. At first, we will pay a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and then Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda. Our tour guide will introduce to you the Father of the Nation - Ho Chi Minh through interesting stories about his simple lifestyle and his great contributions to the country. Coming up next, we will pay a visit to the first university of Vietnam - the Temple of Literature. Lunch on your own expense.

In the afternoon, let’s take a visit to the Museum of Ethnology where displays stunning collections of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic communities and enjoy the open space reserve.

Thereafter, proceed to visit the Old Quarters of Hanoi. You will have time to walk along the bustling streets and enjoy the tasty cuisine as well as buy some souvenirs for your friends and family back home.

Coming back to hotel for relaxation. Dinner on your own.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before we set off to Halong Bay where is recognized as UNESCO world heritage site for the magnificent natural landscape. It is about 150 km from Hanoi to Halong Bay and it takes about 2.5 hours to transfer between the 2 destinations by coach.

On the way to Halong Bay, enjoy the amazing scenery of immense rice paddies and great mountain ranges. When arriving at the dock, hop on a tender as it will take you to the junk boat where you will spend your marvelous cruise on the bay with. Then, have your lunch onboard.

In the afternoon, you will be taken to explore some of the most speculator caves of Halong with magnificent stalactites and stalagmites. Then, jump into emerald water of the bay or do kayak to take pleasure in the beauty of this heavenly island.

At the end of the day, you will spend night staying on the bay. Dinner will be readily served on board and everyone will join in some interesting activities and games together.

Early birds will have a chance to immerse in the serene atmosphere and soft sunbeam of the bay. You will have your breakfast on board while the ship keeps sailing to other lesser - known areas. In the middle of the day, after having lunch on board, you will be taken to the pier to come back to Hanoi by shuttle bus. 

The bus will stop around 30 minutes for you to take a short break. By the time you arrive in Hanoi, a private car (no guide) will pick you up and drive you to Noi Bai international Airport for a flight to Danang. 

You will be welcomed by our guide and driver at Danang International Airport and then be escorted to Hoian Ancient Town. It takes around 45 minutes to get to Hoian.

Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Then, we head off to the local market for an interesting exploration. This place is where native people gather around selling regional products. Enjoy your visit here and try some bargaining tips. 

Next, our trip continues to Bay Mau nipa palm forest where you will have an opportunity to try a typical modes of transport in this area, Coracle. Floating through the lush mangrove forest and being awaken your eyes by its beauty is really unforgettable experience. Besides, the local people sell cute souvenirs made from palm leaf such as hats, rings and watches that you can buy for your friends or families back home.

Then, there is a fun folk game called “bit mat dap nieu” which you can join in together. And, let’s taste some local tea which makes you feel relax while a cooking class is being prepared. In addition, the chefs will demonstrate about the culture of Vietnamese cuisine during his cooking class. Achievement after the class is your self - made lunch and you can enjoy it.

Thereafter, enjoy observing the daily life and fishing activities of the locals in the countryside by enjoying an interesting boat ride on Thu Bon River.

In the afternoon, you are directed to return the town center and you will have time for a leisure walk contemplating its significant architecture which are inspired of Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese culture. We will go to see the Hoian Museum, Phuoc Kien Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Old house and the splendid Japanese Covered Bridge.

Afterwards, back to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to spare. Dinner on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel in Hoian.

In the morning, after having breakfast at the hotel, our private car (no guide) will transfer you to Da Nang airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. By the time you arrive, our guide and driver are ready to meet you up and drive you to the hotel for check in procedures. It will take around 25 minutes to get to the hotel.

In the afternoon, discover some of the most famous landmarks in Ho Chi Minh as well as its stunning French architecture. The Old Saigon post office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House, Reunification Palace and Chinatown Cholon are included in our excursion.

Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Then, our private car will come and drive you to Bentre which will take around 3 hours.

Today, we spend this whole day exploring the beautiful Mekong Delta. First, you will be directed to get on the boat at Phong Nam pier for a cruise on Chet Say river - Mekong River’s tributary. Observe the rustic local life and the production of the traditional handicrafts here such as coconut activated charcoal, coconut products and sedge mat.

Next, we will pay a visit to a beautiful village nearby. You can pick “xe loi” (a local mean of transport) or ride a bike around the village and contemplate splendid and greenery paddy fields. Afterwards, enjoy your lunch at a local house. 

In the afternoon, before coming back to Ho Chi Minh City, you will have chance to enjoy an interesting boat trip along a narrow canal.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to Tan Son Nhat Airport for a flight to Phu Quoc Island by our private car. By the time you arrive, our driver will wait for you at the terminal and ready to transfer you to the resort in Phu Quoc. Enjoy meals on your own and relax at the hotel.

This is the last day of the tour so you will have time to buy some souvenirs for your friends and family. After that, you will be transferred to Phu Quoc Airport to fly back to Ho Chi Minh City.
