Detailed Itinerary
Expand All +Welcome to the metropolis of Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City - the city that never sleeps! Our guide will meet you at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport and take you to the hotel to check in.
Say goodbye to the hustle and bustle vibe of Ho Chi Minh City to proceed to the life of the people by the Mekong Delta.
The drive to Mekong Delta takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to reach Ben Tre.
Embark the boat at Phong Nam pier for a cruise on Chet Say River - a part of the Mekong River.
On the cruise with the slow boat, you will get to see with your own eyes the traditional life of the local people as well as experience their skillful handicrafts in making coconut activated charcoal, coconut products and weaving sedge mat.
Pay a visit at a nearby village with a motorized trishaw “xe loi” or on a bicycle to experience life in the rural area surrounded by paddy fields and peaceful landscape.
Enjoy your lunch in the most authentic Vietnamese style at a local house.
Your afternoon continues with a lovely boat ride through the narrow canals and under the line of the palm trees.
Finally, head back to the vibrant life of Ho Chi Minh City.
Proceed to Cu Chi Tunnels to relive as well as experience the out of this world sophisticated tunnels of more than 250-kilometer long underground. Originally, the tunnels were used as shelter, communication routes, hospitals as well as storage for weapons and food for Vietnamese soldiers in the Vietnam War. What special about the tunnels is that you have to crawl underground to get from one room to the next!
Transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport to catch the domestic flight to Danang.
Our tour guide and driver await for your arrival in Da Nang Airport to check in and relax at the hotel.
Pump yourself up with a morning bicycle ride to Tra Qua vegetable village from Hoian ancient town (or you can choose to ride a cyclo or private car). Unwind yourself with morning breeze of a countryside town.
Arrived at Tra Que village, you will be overwhelmed by the ultimately pleasant smell of various types of herbs.
Roll up your sleeves and join in with the farmers in the garden. After that, participate in the cooking class which you will be introduced to well-known dishes in the area instructed by the local people. Enjoy lunch made by you.
Return to Hoian ancient town and discover Hoian at your own pace.
Today’s morning, head west to get to the Indochina mountain’s foot then hike down to the valley of My Son Sanctuary holly-ground - the home of the Ancient Champa Kingdom that was built and reserved since the 4th century - ruled by the Champa. The number of temple used to be 68 and each placed worship shrine of Shiva god. Now, there’s only 25 monuments of Hindu temples standing still due to the destruction of the Vietnam War. Rarely can you find a chance to actually range over ancient architectural ruins from the red-brick temples to the sophisticated sandstone carvings in the middle of a forest.
Depart to Hanoi on a domestic flight with a transfer (no guide).
Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam - the city for peace of the world. Our guide will be waiting for your arrival at the Noi Bai Airport to meet up and take you to the hotel in the city’s center for check-in procedures.
Get ready for a day to get to know the most authentic sites and attractions in Hanoi. On our first stop, we will be visiting the most significant construction in the heart of Vietnamese people - Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. The tour guide will share great stories about President Ho Chi Minh’s former life as well as his legacies that left behind at the Stilt House and the Presidential Palace. Coming up next, we will head to the Temple of Literature which is known as the first-found university in Vietnam.
Enjoy lunch on at your own expense at a local restaurant.
Later in the afternoon, take a visit at Hanoi’s Museum of Ethnology, where you will be marveled at numerous collections of artifacts from 54 different ethnic communities in Vietnam and take part in reproducing activities at the museum.
Thereafter, you will spend your time watching outstanding performances of Vietnamese traditional art and music with a Water Puppet Show.
After having breakfast at the hotel, pack for your short cruise in HaLong Bay - which was recognized as one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites in 2000. We will transfer to HaLong Bay with a shared shuttle bus and English speaking guide.
On the way reaching HaLong Bay, you will have a chance to observe the greenery of the paddy fields and ranges of mountain in the background. Once arrived at the dock, onboard the Junk boat and set sail on the bay.
Enjoy your lunch on board.
Awaken your eyes with extraordinary caves carved by glamorous stalactites and stalagmites. Then, jump in the warm emerald water of the East Sea or go kayaking to discover hidden beauty of the gem on the Gulf of Tonkin.
The Junk boat will drop the anchor to stay overnight on the bay.
Dinner will be served on board and the cruise crew will hold a few activities to light up the night.
A small reminder for tourists: shared shuttle bus as transfer to Halong includes an English-speaking guide. Please contact our travel agency in case you want to travel with a private car.
Your day will be truly amazing if you start your day early to watch the sun gently rise above the horizon with a sip of morning cocktail. The ship continues to sails further on the bay as you are having breakfast. During the course of the cruise, you will learn how the locals make their living on sea.
After a light lunch on board, disembark the ship and ride back to Hanoi on a shuttle bus.
The rest of the day will be at your own pace.
Loosen up for the day and search for perfect gifts for your family and friends before taking the flight home. Transfer to the airport without guide today.
